Please visit our website for more information about our services, locations, and team at Position Summary The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide care in-person or via videoconferencing to various patient populations in outpatient care, including partial hospital and/or intensive outpatient programs. Qualifications include Minimum of two years of experience as a psychiatric provider is preferred Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program with certification as a PMHNP Current and unrestricted Texas APRN license Ability to obtain and maintain licensure in multiple states as needed Valid DEA license or ability to obtain one in multiple states Active CPR certification Strong clinical judgment and ability to make decisions based on patient presentation Experience in telemedicine is preferred Proficient in navigating and documenting independently in an EMR Comfortable using Microsoft 365 suite, Zoom, and other computer tools Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Able to sit for up to 8 hours during scheduled shifts Flexible within defined work hours and adaptable to changing environments Demonstrates a desire for continuous learning and professional growth Reliable, professional, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Job Duties Overview Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in an outpatient setting. Interpret lab results and incorporate findings into individualized care plans when appropriate. Make independent clinical decisions in alignment with established protocols and national guidelines for treating mental health conditions. Maintain strong, professional relationships with patients and referral sources to ensure continuity of care. Ensure a positive patient experience during in-person and virtual appointments, addressing concerns and promoting satisfaction. Log into the videoconferencing platform and electronic medical record (EMR) at least 15 minutes prior to each scheduled virtual shift to confirm system readiness. Promptly report any connectivity or technical issues to the designated care coordinator and IT Help Desk to minimize disruptions to patient care. Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday Salary: $130K - $140K Annually 120 hours (15 days) of paid time off 40 hours (5 days of sick leave) 24 hours (3 days) of paid bereavement leave per occurrence.
