Validation / Verification Engineer (Contract) (x2)

Farsak seeks two validation /verification engineers to lead the efforts toward V&V with a partner OEM. This individual will be able to drive the technical vision for autonomous vehicles, develop state‑of‑the‑art software for production vehicles, and solve complex problems. Both roles are contract‑based and will be on‑site in Chicago, IL, or Fort Wayne, IN, Metro Area. Primary Responsibilities Perform impact analysis. Write test cases and procedures. Assist test engineers during prep. Analyze data and generate test, validation, or verification reports. Qualifications and Experiences Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering as part of combined HW/SW systems. Strong experience developing master validation plans, creating and managing DVP&Rs, test procedures (including traceability of test artifacts to requirements), and initial root cause analysis activities. Strong ability to perform coverage analysis, correctly document test procedures, and develop new tests. Experience in communicating and documenting issues in PRTS. Provide leadership in implementing testing strategies to achieve extensive testing capabilities across multiple vehicle platforms. At least two years of prior experience developing vehicle test scenarios and processes. Demonstrated knowledge of driver assist systems, vehicle dynamics, and autonomous & electric vehicles. Working knowledge of safety standards ISO 26262, ISO 21488, ISO 21434. Experience with vehicle limit handling. Prior experience in the automotive industry and autonomous driving is a strong plus.
