Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and customer requirements.
- Develop and execute quality strategies, objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives that support business goals and operational excellence.
- Serve as the site authority on quality, product safety, risk management, and customer quality concerns.
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality improvement projects to reduce defects and improve performance.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver safe, high-quality products and services.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Energy (EHS&E) requirements while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
- Analyze quality and operational data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and support data-driven decision making.
- Lead audits, customer visits, certification activities, and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Manage quality budgets, resources, and performance metrics.
- Coach, mentor, and develop quality team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Serve as a key member of the site leadership team, providing strategic direction and business support.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO standards, quality systems, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk, solve complex problems, and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead change, develop teams, and drive a culture of accountability and customer focus.
Preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with automotive, industrial, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proven success leading customer quality initiatives and product safety programs.
