Position Summary As a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead you will drive member service in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver safe and efficient services. You will model expertise in the Tire and Battery Center and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the entire club meets the member’s expectations. Responsibilities Be a Team Leader: Supervise the team to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall club success. Communicate departmental goals, set guidelines and expectations for tire and battery service, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company. Be an Expert: Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of business floor safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality. Share knowledge and train the team, ensuring they stay current on new products and technologies. Leverage Digital Tools: Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, and training. Encourage early adoption of new tools and demonstrate their benefits to the team. Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, maintain a neat and safe work area, proactively plan for equipment, tools, and supplies, track returns and special orders, assist with staffing and scheduling, operate cash registers, process transactions, and support member service physically when required. Maintain Compliance: Keep accurate inventory, complete audit and safety documentation, model a commitment to member service, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics. Act as a Talent Ambassador: Train and teach team members, monitor e‑learning completion, identify potential, develop skill sets, encourage career growth, source new talent internally and externally, and collaborate on process improvements. Promote Inclusion and Integrity: Foster a respectful workplace, build strong relationships, communicate with impact, mentor others, uphold Walmart values, and raise any ethical or compliance issues through the Open Door Policy. Serve Customers and Members: Deliver results while prioritizing the customer, make decisions based on reliable information, balance short‑and‑long‑term priorities, and support a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation. Minimum Qualifications 6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in the automotive industry. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Additional supervisory experience. Tire industry experience. Tire industry certification (Certificate). Compensation Hourly wage range: $23.00 to $31.00.
