Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVICU Duration: 11 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Required travel experience Description: Orientation is held weekly. This facility has 171 beds and is a community hospital and regional referral center. It is a certified Chest Pain Center with a trauma level of III. The area offers various outdoor recreational activities such as local fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. There are numerous local restaurants, breweries, and distilleries to explore. The beautiful mountain ranges provide serene lake scenery. Nearby major cities include Las Vegas, Phoenix, the Grand Canyon National Park, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Unit Information: The unit consists of 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Specific equipment used includes Baxter pumps. The electronic health record system is Medhost. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. The role requires floating to an Intermediate Care Unit as needed for admitted patients holding in the emergency department. The personality fit should align with a collaborative team environment. Dress Code: Scrubs of any color are acceptable. Unacceptable attire will be defined as per unit guidelines.
