Staff Accountant

Overview The Staff Accountant will evaluate complex transactions and record to the general ledger as necessary to ensure financials are accurate and complete. This role is responsible for completing complex balance‑sheet reconciliations and income‑statement analysis. Primary Responsibilities Calculate, review and process journal entries and balance‑sheet/account reconciliation for month‑end and quarter‑end reporting. Post daily cash activities. Evaluate transactions and record them to the general ledger to ensure accuracy. Compile and analyze complex accounting information to provide management with data necessary for critical business decisions. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and performing comparative analyses. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of demonstrated full‑cycle accounting experience. Two years of demonstrated experience with accounting principles and general ledger systems. Physical Demands Time spent sitting, typing, and using a computer. Intermittent walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping. Occasional lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling of up to 20 pounds.
