Baton Rouge is about a two-hour drive southeast, giving you access to cultural attractions and entertainment. To qualify, you need current RN licensure and recent experience in emergency nursing. Essential skills include triage, trauma assessment, and strong communication abilities. Recommended skills include proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records (EMR) and experience in trauma or acute care settings.
