A Business Taxes Specialist II in the Business Analytics Section (BAS), manages, evaluates, and provides support for the statewide compliance program. In doing this, the incumbent will:

• Advise team members, management, and the public on compliance issues.
• Draft new and update existing compliance policies for management approval.
• Lead and participate in special projects impacting the compliance program.

Working in the BAS exposes team members to all aspects of compliance work, including, but not limited to, registration, account maintenance, and collections. Working in the section also allows opportunities to work closely with compliance team members from all over the agency, as well as exposure to senior management. All telework/hybrid schedules require staff to report to the office a minimum number of days per week. Schedules are subject to change.
