SharePoint Communications Specialist

Genesis10 is currently seeking a SharePoint Communications Specialist for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a contract opportunity currently scheduled to end in December 2026. Fully onsite, 5 days/week. Pay range $38.53-$42.63 per hour W2. This role involves providing support for enterprise and divisional initiatives through clear, accurate communications and practical change enablement content. The specialist will translate complex technology and business topics into concise, usable content for employees and leaders. This position supports change and adoption efforts through messaging and enablement content and requires the ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving, high-visibility, high-expectations environment. Responsibilities Draft and develop business communications Create and update job aids Support ongoing content updates Independently research, evaluate, and summarize complex information with accuracy Requirements Provable successful experience in internal or external communication Strong writing and editing skills Change management experience Strong operational coordination and logistics skills Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic video editing capabilities Work samples are strongly preferred with resume submission Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
