Staffmark Total Talent Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances located in Plano, TX. Schedule: Fully on-site, Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hours may vary) Software Tester Top Skills: Manual and automated testing Mobile app testing Firmware knowledge for Android and iOS Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams Detect, track, and document software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and performance test cases for mobile apps and system features Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to the development team Validate firmware, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G), and hardware interactions Conduct manual and automated testing as per defined procedures and quality criteria Perform testing throughout all phases of the mobile software life cycle - design, develop, test, release, and maintenance Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or similar field 1-3 years of experience in mobile software or QA testing Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively Strong understanding of mobile Android OS platforms and device ecosystems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities Excellent time-management and documentation skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Plus experience with mobile test tools (e.g., ADB, Jira, TestRail, or similar) Staffmark talent working with this client receives competitive compensation and a great benefits package!
