Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 1 year required License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT CT, ARRT R Must-Have: CT Tech Certification required Experience with adult acute care and outpatient settings Experience with specific CT procedures Description: This position is for a CT Tech working nights. The shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM with a schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off. The average daily census is 15 patients, providing care for a patient population that includes neonates through geriatrics. The candidate must possess skills in administering contrast media and be knowledgeable in radiation safety. Experience in specialized CT procedures is essential, including but not limited to abdomen, chest, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal imaging. The candidate should also be familiar with GE PACS as well as Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment. Experience with 3D rendering techniques such as maximum intensity projection and volume rendering is preferred. The candidate should comply with all safety protocols, including isolation precautions and appropriate use of personal protective equipment. This position requires adherence to COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies, with exceptions only for medical or religious reasons. Candidates must demonstrate competency in age-specific patient care from neonates to older adults. Experience in a travel position is required. Candidates are expected to have strong patient interaction skills and uphold the highest level of patient care standards.
