Location 1 W FIRESTORM WAY,Glendale, AZ, 85306-3216,United States Job Category [ACU-CAT:STUDENT-EMPLOYMENT] Employee Type Paid Student Worker Required Degree High school Description Under direct supervision of the Senior Director of IT, the Student Worker - Information Technology, will provide technology support to students and staff. This role also requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the unique Christian mission and vision of ACU to Transform Culture with Truth, and the ability to advance that mission and vision through the performance of its duties, including person to person mentorship and discipleship. Typical Duties: Troubleshoot and provide technology support to students, faculty, and staff across the campus. Help ensure classroom technology such as the computer, projector and audio are ready for classes and events. No prior IT experience is required. While previous customer service or technical experience is a plus, we will provide on-the-job training. You will be taught how to perform hardware repairs and introduced to enterprise IT systems, making this a great opportunity to build your resume if you are interested in working in IT. Troubleshoot and assist users in connecting their personal devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones) to the campus Wi-Fi network. Verify user identities and perform secure password resets for student university accounts. Assist students, faculty, and staff with account management inquiries, including new account setups, login issues, and general troubleshooting. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Completing other duties and tasks with utmost integrity and professionalism, as directed, and not necessarily mentioned in this description, will be expected. Comfort and familiarity with the practice of praying with and for others, including students, faculty, and fellow University staff. The ability to meaningfully support and encourage students, faculty, and staff from a biblical worldview perspective, using relevant and applicable references from the Old and New Testaments and orthodox Christian writings. Demonstrated alignment with and enthusiastic support for the Christian Mission and Core Commitments of the University, including signing the University's Statement of Faith and Core Commitments annually. Must complete a FAFSA Working Conditions: Office hours to accomplish administrative tasks.
