Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Step-Down setting with a 5:1 patient ratio
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than general medical-surgical floors
• Document patient care and clinical findings using Paragon electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee state license or a valid Compact license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Prior travel nursing experience required – first-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be accepted
• No time-off requests (RTO) will be approved from 2/08/27 through 3/31/27 due to a system implementation period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in an IMC, PCU, or Step-Down clinical environment
• Familiarity with Paragon electronic health records charting system
• Demonstrated ability to manage higher-acuity patients in a fast-paced setting
