FACULTY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE ASSISTANT PROFESSOR FULL-TIME TENURE-TRACK DUTIES OF THE POSITION Teach undergraduate courses in criminal justice ethics, theories of crime, research methods, criminal law and the courts, victimology, restorative justice, and related subjects. Advise undergraduate students and serve on departmental and campus‑wide committees. Participate in scholarly research, publish and present findings at professional conferences. Contribute to university service and represent the department at external events. QUALIFICATIONS Earned or expected doctoral degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related field (ABD status considered if completed by appointment date). Demonstrated experience in teaching, mentoring, research, or community service that supports a diverse and inclusive learning environment. Record of scholarly activity, including peer‑reviewed publications and conference presentations. Commitment to the university’s mission of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
