# Senior Quality Engineer## Bethel,CT$50.00/HourContractOn-Site**Senior Quality Engineer****Bethel, CT****1 Year Contract**The **Senior Quality Engineer** will support the production of precision pressure sensors used in commercial, military, and space applications. This is a hands-on quality role supporting the full manufacturing lifecycle, including supplier quality, production, testing, final acceptance, corrective actions, customer support, and regulatory compliance.**Senior Quality Engineer Responsibilities:*** Develop and maintain quality standards, inspection methods, testing procedures, and quality systems.* Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and production teams to resolve quality issues.* Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, nonconformance investigations, and continuous-improvement efforts.* Support supplier quality activities, including purchase-order review, supplier corrective actions, and nonconforming material resolution.* Participate in MRB activities and help determine disposition of discrepant material.* Review technical data, drawings, specifications, test results, and quality documentation.* Support internal audits, product audits, customer audits, and quality reviews.* Serve as a quality contact for customers, suppliers, and government agencies, including the FAA and DCMA.* Develop quality-related training materials and provide guidance to inspection and production personnel.**Senior Quality Engineer Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree required; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.* At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, technical, or quality role.* Experience with quality systems, inspection/testing, measurement systems, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and nonconforming material.* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.* Aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.* Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet ITAR requirements.-Hunter International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
