MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- Night Shift

Job Description
Primary Responsibility
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and replace production equipment, such as: tanks, pumps, agitators, gearboxes, valves, conveyors, blowers and fans while observing plant safety requirements and lock-out/tag-out procedures
Report issues that are beyond their ability to fix or repair to supervision
Document preventive maintenance tasks, repair activity and spare parts usage within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Perform pipefitting, welding, fabrication, equipment installation and alignments
Secondary Responsibility
Set example for safe operation of machinery and equipment
Provide feedback to management
Support engineers, production operators and contractors
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to support operations or when emergencies arise
Qualifications and Education Requirements
HS Diploma or GED
3+ years experience in industrial maintenance- chemical preferred.
US Citizen
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to be trained in confined space entry
Comfortable working at heights (scissor lift, high reach, scaffolding)
Work Environment
Chemical plant and Warehouse Environment
