And we invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unpack their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so does our business.To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit I LinkedIn I Glassdoor I Facebook I YouTubeJob DescriptionResponsibilities:Assist with recruiting by working with applicant screening, calendar entries, background checks, reference checks, offer letters, and relocation, as applicableAssist with the new hire orientation processCoordinate post-offer testing and background checksAssist with benefit enrollment meetings and preparation of enrollment materialPrepare wage, position, and level change documents for approvalMaintain documentation and tracking of employee disciplinary stepsUpdate the HR communication television system weekly with supplied contentUpdate Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with new hires; off-board terminated employees; update current employee HRIS informationAssist and motivate with completion of ‘Berry University’ CoursesOrganize HR department records and maintaining employee filesAssist internal customers on various employment questionsPrepare weekly and monthly HR reportsMaintain and update points in attendance log through HRIS systemAssist with payroll as neededOrder quarterly recognition items when contacted by corporateHR Administer security badges, and send notification of all personnel changesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Exceptional communication and organization skillsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or equivalent experience, is requiredProficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required. Previous experience using HRIS software is preferredMust be detail-oriented and able to complete tasks in a timely mannerWorking knowledge of labor laws and requirements preferredAbility to work with confidential informationTwo-to-four years of experience in Human Resources preferredPHR/SHRM certification a plusThe starting salary for this position is expected to be between $60,000 to $70,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
