Maintains a comprehensive filing system in accordance with SCFs record retention requirements./ppThis position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments./ppHiring Range: $22.99 to $30.66 for Payroll Technician I/ppHiring Range: $26.33 to $35.10 for Payroll Technician II/ppQualifications:/ppSCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCFs geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCFs vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:/pp1. High School diploma; OR GED./pp2. One (1) year of payroll experience, including processing computerized payroll, State and Federal reporting and management of employee files./ppAdditional Qualifications for Payroll Technician II:/pp1. Associate degree in accounting or business or a related field; OR equivalent training and experience./pp2. One (1) year of payroll experience, including the processing of computerized payroll, State and Federal reporting and management of employee files./ppNative Preference: Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference./ppEmployee Health Requirements: Compliance with our Employee Health Procedure is a condition of SCF employment.
