NOW HIRING: Laborers | Heavy Equipment Operators | CDL A Drivers

Want a job that gets you out of the same place every day? A&K Railroad Materials is growing our traveling crews and looking for dependable people who are ready to work, travel, and see different parts of the country while earning a steady paycheck.

We are hiring Laborers, Heavy Equipment Operators, and CDL A Drivers to support railroad track deconstruction projects throughout the United States.

Our crews travel approximately 48–50 weeks per year and typically stay at each project for several weeks or months before moving to the next location. This is not a Monday–Friday local job. You should be comfortable spending most of the year on the road and working away from home.

A&K provides company transportation, hotel accommodations, and a meal stipend while you are traveling for work. Crews generally work around 50 hours per week, with overtime opportunities when applicable.

Laborers perform hands-on physical work to dismantle previously installed railroad track, remove fasteners, sort materials, and keep the jobsite moving. No railroad experience is required—we can train the right person.

Heavy Equipment Operators operate equipment used to safely and efficiently dismantle and move railroad materials. Previous heavy equipment operating experience is required.

CDL A Drivers transport equipment and materials between jobsites and support our traveling operations. A valid CDL Class A is required, and experience with equipment/material transportation is preferred.

All positions involve outdoor work in changing weather conditions, physical activity, teamwork, and following established safety procedures.

We’re looking for people who are reliable, hardworking, safety-minded, physically capable, and comfortable living and working on the road. You don't need to have railroad experience to join our labor crew—but you do need the right attitude and willingness to work.
