The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking roll sets, documenting turnings, maintaining a current roll inventory, and maintaining a current tooling inventory. The Roll Shop Machinist will also be responsible for the maintenance and preventative maintenance of Roll Shop equipment. Candidates should also possess the ability to learn a Cam system and be willing to help as needed in all areas of the Roll Shop and Roll Mill. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications Familiar with QMOS System High School Diploma or equivalent Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
