General Manager - Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS)

Manassas, VA

Catalent seeks a General Manager to lead its Manassas, Virginia dietary supplements manufacturing facility. This senior operations role requires translating business strategy into strong operational, financial, customer, and people outcomes while overseeing a regulated 70,000 sq. ft. soft chews and lozenges production site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site execution of business strategy and annual operating plans with accountability for operational, financial, and people performance
  • Ensure site capacity and capabilities meet customer demand and deliver reliable supply
  • Foster culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement while developing leaders
  • Serve as senior representative with customers and internal stakeholders across Commercial, Quality, HR, and Finance
  • Champion operational excellence initiatives and support business development and commercialization activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Management, or related field
  • 10+ years progressive leadership in regulated manufacturing or operations
  • Demonstrated success leading a manufacturing site with accountability for safety, quality, and performance
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L management and budgeting experience preferred
  • Proven people leadership skills including team building and leading through change
  • Hands-on leadership style with ability to partner across matrixed functions
  • Customer-facing communication skills and ability to represent site to leadership
