- Schedule: Monday through Friday

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine, having completed an ACGME-accredited Addiction Medicine Fellowship
- Active Michigan medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained) / ACLS certification (must be maintained)
A typical day may involve:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities
- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health initiatives
We offer an outstanding full-time opportunity for an Addiction Medicine Physician. The selected candidate will join a group practice that supports a large multispecialty health system in addressing the needs of patients dealing with addiction and related challenges. While the primary location will be in Oakland, MI, there may be occasional coverage at other sites as part of a larger team. Experience or interest in treating patients with substance use disorders is preferred. This position primarily focuses on outpatient care, with some consultation responsibilities in the inpatient setting of a large community hospital.
