Lead Technical Program Manager - Risk Technology

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience, or equivalent expertise, in technical program management leading complex technology initiatives in a large organization
• Advanced stakeholder management skills, including building productive cross-functional relationships and influencing decisions
• Strong technical fluency leading programs involving shared platforms, services, dependencies, and large-scale environments
• Experience managing resources and budgets and influencing high-performing teams in fast-paced, agile settings
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to break business, technical, and operational objectives into manageable work
• Knowledge of software and system delivery lifecycles, architecture concepts, APIs, data flows, release processes, and production readiness
• Ability to work credibly with engineering teams on design dependencies, integration risks, and execution trade-offs without direct engineering people management responsibility
• Experience translating complex technical initiatives into executable plans, identifying dependencies and failure points, and coordinating cross-team mitigations
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI tools for program management, with sound validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity and handling expectations
• Ability to review AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, and escalate when uncertain
• Preferred: Experience advising senior stakeholders and executive sponsors through concise, transparent communication
• Preferred: Experience improving delivery practices, including operational rigor, metrics, planning discipline, and lessons learned
• Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or comparable certification, or demonstrated agile program leadership
• Preferred: Software engineering or comparable technical background, or equivalent experience leading complex engineering programs as a highly technical TPM
• Preferred: Experience with distributed systems, cloud or platform services, data ecosystems, or production operations
• Preferred: Ability to understand end-to-end system functionality and translate technical context into program decisions, risk management, and executive communication

• Create and deliver comprehensive program and project plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, technical interfaces, and delivery approach across multiple workstreams
• Take end-to-end ownership of outcomes by surfacing issues, driving decisions, and implementing corrective actions to protect delivery, quality, and stakeholder trust
• Apply enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate planning and risk synthesis, validate the results, and handle information according to its sensitivity
• Identify and mitigate risks early, maintaining actionable RAID and contingency plans
• Maintain execution discipline through thorough planning, follow-through, and ongoing removal of blockers across teams
• Partner with engineering, product, business, and risk stakeholders to define scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, and success measures aligned with business goals
• Use data and analytical reasoning to evaluate program health, find improvement opportunities, and increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Bring stakeholders together, clarify roles and expectations, and resolve complex cross-functional issues using strong problem-solving practices
• Encourage reuse-first, AI-assisted program governance and reporting, with human review and adherence to delivery standards
