This position will develop and maintain client relationships using a full suite of banking services, with a focus on customer experience, digital utilization, and compliant sales practices.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Facilitates integrated delivery of financial services and products.Manages the effective use of client relationship management software.Manages and fosters growth in the top client relationships of the branch.Identifies referral opportunities to other lines of business.Builds client relationships through outbound and proactive measures.Opens and maintains a variety of products.Demonstrates proficiency in processing new consumer and new small business loan requests.Keeps up to date on regulation changes, follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.Participates in and enforces all aspects of branch security.Ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and quality standards are met.Learns, demonstrates, and fosters the First Interstate Bank's corporate culture in all actions and words.Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.Participates in volunteer activities and financial education.Performs other duties as assigned.Management responsibilities include:Manages one or more branches within a market.Manages the selections, placement, performance, development, promotion, and termination of branch employees.Provides coaching, performance feedback and development.Qualifications to perform this job successfully include:Demonstrated ability to manage branch level P&L, interpret financial trends, and drive performance outcomes.Strong understanding of digital banking capabilities, CRM utilization, and customer adoption strategies.Ability to solve complex operational or client related challenges using sound judgment, data interpretation, and risk aware decision making.Skilled in building trust, conducting quality conversations, identifying needs, and aligning customers with appropriate solutions across banking lines.Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.Education and/or experience:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) requiredAssociate's Degree preferred4-6 years experience in the banking industry to include supervisor or management experience requiredConsumer and Small Business lending origination experience preferredLicenses and certifications:Valid Driver's License requiredRegistered Mortgage Loan Originator per the SAFE Act within 30 Days requiredNotary Certification preferredPhysical demands and working environment:Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate computer keyboard and mouse - FrequentlyHandling - FrequentlyHearing - FrequentlyLifting - Occasionally (up to 25 lbs)Sitting - OccasionallyStanding - FrequentlyTalking - FrequentlyWalking - OccasionallyNoise Level - ModerateTypical Work Hours - Vary based on scheduling and business needRegular and Predictable Attendance - RequiredTravel - as needed
