Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and driven Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the guidance of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support the assessment, treatment, and intervention of communication disorders in students. We are looking for a dynamic professional who is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of students and families in Roseville. Responsibilities: Collaborate with licensed SLPs to conduct screenings and assessments to evaluate students' communication abilities. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies to address speech, language, and communication disorders. Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of licensed SLPs, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and educational settings. Assist in the collection and analysis of data to monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student data. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field. Completion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program approved by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board. Valid California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). Previous experience working as an SLPA in a school or educational setting preferred. Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices in speech-language pathology. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
