Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 08/03/2026 for 8 weeks. 40 hours per week on a 4x10-hour day shift. Weekly pay range $2,512 to $2,622. Work in a hospital setting, providing perioperative nursing care and collaborating with the surgical team.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Prepare the operative environment using sterile technique; assist the surgical team; monitor patient status intraoperatively; manage equipment and specimens.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other OR staff; coordinate patient care and communicate changes in condition.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately and monitor performance.
- Document perioperative care, patient responses, and any deviations from the plan of care; ensure accurate handoffs and record-keeping.
- Ensure infection control measures, patient positioning safety, and overall patient advocacy throughout the perioperative period.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license to practice in California (CA RN)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional OR-specific credentials preferred
- Perioperative/OR nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OR setting and to meet the physical demands of perioperative care
- Eligible for a travel assignment and able to start on the specified date
