Managing Partner, IT Strategy Consulting - Financial Services & Insurance Industry Gartner's Consulting is an extension of Gartner's IT Research. From CIOs to leaders in business and government, we help clients translate insights into transformational actions and achieve mission-critical priorities. Consulting is growing rapidly, with potential to expand our client base. We engage clients through hands-on, project-based work grounded in Gartner’s insights. We help optimize IT performance by guiding right strategic decisions for the business across sectors, including: Digital Acceleration and Transformation Big Data and Analytics Applications Rationalization Cloud Strategy Sourcing and Ecosystem Optimization Security and Risk Management Contract and Cost Optimization What you will do: Manage and grow Gartner Consulting’s relationship with a defined portfolio of clients. Advise clients at the highest strategic level on big-picture and tactical matters, showing how technology enables business outcomes. Collaborate with Expert Partners to deliver the best solutions. What you will need: Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery and sales capacity Experience working with and selling into financial institutions (e.g., large banks, insurance, asset/wealth management) Intellectual curiosity and the ability to develop solutions and strategies to solve client problems; adapt Gartner frameworks to address pressing business challenges Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst (preferred) Experience working with multiple IT solutions Proven track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive priorities Ability to inspire professionals from technical and non-technical backgrounds toward common goals Commitment to the success of your team and willingness to provide constructive action when needed Ability to be hands-on and manage multiple client priorities simultaneously MBA or other advanced degree (preferred) Who you are: Comfortable selling to, influencing and building trust-based, value-added relationships with senior executives Coachable and open to best practices and feedback for continuous improvement High achiever with perseverance, humility and a positive outlook Proven track record in achieving/exceeding revenue targets Ability to travel to client sites as necessary Associates are expected to travel to client sites and meetings as required by business needs or engagement requirements. Salary details: A base salary range is 188,000 USD – 248,000 USD, with eligible bonuses or incentive plans.
