Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and management of large scale, complex multi-site clinical projects/ studies from start-up through close out of studies. To consistently embody AMR Clinical's Core Values:

The Project Manager reports to the VP of Project Delivery and Regulatory.

Classification: Exempt

Primary Responsibilities:

• Project management activities for complex and/or multi-site trials across the AMR network
• Plan and lead internal/external meetings with applicable stakeholders.
• Proactively monitor progress, identify hurdles, and collaboratively develop creative solutions for obstacles to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Liaison with Sponsor/CRO throughout the study from start-up to completion to ensure seamless study operations.
• Ensure all clinical study management and project deliverables are completed to the sponsor's satisfaction, ensuring quality deliverables are on time and per sponsor expectations.
• Ensure quality and timeliness on all projects.
• Lead team by demonstrating critical thinking skills, problem-solving, and resolution.
• Manage external vendors that will be utilized by sites by assessing feasibility, overseeing start-up, and conducting a study.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Site managers to develop, execute, and track the progress of studies.
• Ensure all multi-site projects are executed according to the project plan and ELT expectations.
• Identify and mitigate fundamental issues on the project, make sound business decisions, and ensure solutions are appropriately vetted and implemented.
• Develop accurate resource requirement projections for each project.
• Recommend, design, develop, and implement innovative processes to impact clinical trial management.
• Manage AMR contracted vendors that offer clinical study services.
• Engage the Business Development team to ensure a clean handoff of awarded studies.
• In collaboration with BD, participate in feasibility studies and planning for multi-site and complex trials.
• Communicate regularly with Business Development and Quality Assurance.
• Identify and address quality-related matters with QA across the projects assigned.
• Provide timely and accurate KPI reporting to ELT.
• Use KPI analysis to identify opportunities to improve operating results.
• Work with site leadership to develop and implement processes to improve clinical trial execution capabilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Master's degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in applicable field of study (Business, Healthcare Management, etc.)
• Project management experience is required
• A minimum of 5+ years of previous experience in clinical research project management and/or clinical operations, possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform this job.
• Vast knowledge of clinical trials, regulatory requirements, laws, and guidelines.
• Prior experience working with PI's and clinical research team.
• Lead, motivate and coordinate teams to achieve excellent outcomes.
• Plan and deliver a persuasive presentation.
• Advance computer software knowledge in various programs, i.e. Word, excel, etc.
• Excellent task management and prioritization skills.
