Clinical Research Assistant- Otolaryngology

Job Title Clinical Research Assistant – Otolaryngology Department Medicine | Otolaryngology Responsibilities Coordinate and perform clinical research in accordance with approved protocols, including therapeutic studies involving interventions such as mindfulness, medication, or devices. Assess patient records to identify eligible participants, recruit, interview, and enroll patients, obtain informed consent, and educate participants on the study process. Coordinate patient appointments and procedures, administer standardized diagnostic, psychological, or behavioral testing, calculate scoring, and collect, process, and evaluate biological samples. Assist with the collection, entry, and maintenance of clinical research data into study databases, prepare documentation for research progress reports, and complete Institutional Review Board (IRB) and sponsor study documents. Assist with the preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in biological, health, social, or medical sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred; no prior experience required. Proficient computer skills. Successful completion of a background check; applicant may be asked to complete a pre‑employment physical, including a drug screen.
