As we continue to grow, we're looking for team members who are dedicated, reliable, and ready to contribute to a culture built on respect, opportunity, and pride in service.Position SummaryThe IT Product Manager is responsible for driving the success of our company's software products, delivering value to internal and external users through software development. As a product owner, is responsible for gathering business requirements, managing user expectations, and providing vision to development team to produce effective product features. Focuses the development team to ensure execution of roadmap and delivery of new features.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Define product vision, and maintain product roadmapFoster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and facilitate regular communication to understand user needs to ensure features and products are aligned with business objectivesUnderstand complex business processes in order to gather feature requirements from users of many different backgroundsConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products or enhancementsTurn product features into epics and story backlogs, breaking feature requirements down into user-centric work itemsCollaborate with stakeholders to prioritize product initiatives based on business value and feasibility.Plan, prioritize and manage delivery of backlogs ensuring that team has an adequate number of prepared tasks to work on every Sprint; review process and work items with development teamManage ongoing priority and backlog in a quickly evolving environmentEnsure quality level of delivery by actively participating in release processCoordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Coordinate releases with development team and relevant stakeholders, including marketing and customer communicationReport on progress to stakeholders and IT managementCommunicate changes to users and educate training team and helpdeskOversee product health; define and track key performance metrics to measure product success and identify areas for improvementServe as an escalation point for issues and concerns about the productServe as liaison between the business and development team for integrations and M&AsConduct resource managementAdditional Duties and ResponsibilitiesUpon management request.Knowledge, Skills and CompetenciesKnowledgeProduct management best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean).Market research, customer discovery, and data-driven decision-making.Relevant industry trends and competitive landscape.SkillsStrong use of project planning and management tools (MS office: Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint along with Smart Sheets, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Graphs, etc.)Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Lucid Charts, Road mapping tools).Effective oral and written communicationLeadership and change managementAnalytical: Able to demonstrate risks and opportunities with supporting data analysisBudget managementCompetenciesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.Independent judgmentAnalytical and data-driven mindset.Ability to think strategically while also diving into tactical details when needed.Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.Passion for delivering exceptional products that meet customer needs.Communicates effectively across functional linesEducational Qualifications/Job Experience RequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in computer systems, business, marketing, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience.Product management certification, such as Certified Product Manager (CPM), is desirable.Experience3+ years' experience as a software product ownerExperience leading cross functional teams with Scrum methodologyWorking Conditions/Physical RequirementsSchedule:Regular weekly schedule; weekends or holidays as neededThe working conditions and physical environments described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
