Radiology Tech Lead

Our client, a leading health system in Colorado Springs, is seeking a Radiology Tech Lead to oversee daily workflow, develop schedules, and act as a subject matter expert for the unit. This role involves developing and leading staff to ensure accountability for the organizational mission and success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day workflow in the department, including ensuring adequate supplies.
• Perform imaging procedures while providing safety for self, patients, and others.
• Adhere to all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, minimizing exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).
• Serve as the first point of contact for patient issues.
• Provide feedback for staff evaluations.
• Orient new employees and offer continuing education opportunities for staff.

Required

• One (1) year of related experience.
• Current Registered Technologist, Radiology R.T. (R) (ARRT).
• Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs.

Preferred

• Associates Degree, strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Three (3) years of imaging experience, strongly preferred.

$30.57 - $51.49/hour
