Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Creve Coeur, MO, providing home health services to patients across the lifespan. You will plan, implement, and evaluate individualized physical therapy care plans in patient homes, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and provide education and training to patients and families. This opportunity requires flexibility to travel locally and perform duties that include patient assessment, durable medical equipment recommendations, and documentation of plans of care and progress notes.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program, or Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist. Must be active to start the assignment.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting. This experience is required.
• Ability to perform prolonged standing and walking, heavy lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling as part of patient care.
• Ability to travel locally and work a flexible schedule.
• Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Client requirement: Experience with durable medical equipment and ability to order/adapt rehabilitative equipment for home environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional growth preferred.

Assignment Details

• Work in home health setting providing in-home physical therapy services.
• Ability to travel locally and float as needed within the client’s service area.
