Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.Job DescriptionWhat this job involves:The Maintenance Mechanic has wide ranging responsibilities for the electrical and mechanical systems at the assigned buildings; including but not limited to the following:* Performs service requests, ensuring that work is executed professionally, efficiently and with minimum amount of disruption to the client.* Completes general maintenance tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, plumbing repairs, change light bulbs / ballasts, hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems as assigned.* Responds effectively to emergencies and support after-hours building related activity as requested.* Troubleshoots system and equipment failures.* Complies with policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.* Maintains records for work completed in a neat and organized manner.* Maintains machinery, equipment and tools in working order.* Maintains a clean and safe work environment.* Performs other maintenance duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 26'* Electrical and mechanical aptitude a must* Knowledge of office furniture systems* Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate well verbally, email and written reports* Speak fluent EnglishSound like you?
