Salary $11,069 to $29,944 per month (LHC1 - Minimum to Maximum) Responsibilities This position diagnoses and treats medical illnesses, diseases and disorders of the human body. It renders professional medical services covering a variety of medical problems in patients of all ages or in a specialized field of medicine. In addition to providing professional medical services, the position may also direct medical and auxiliary services such as laboratory, dental, nursing, and related modalities. Qualifications Legal Authorization: The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government to be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. License: Applicants must possess a valid, unrestricted medical license in a state or territory of the United States. Upon appointment, applicants must have or obtain a valid license to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Hawai‘i, or a limited and temporary license if applicable. Some positions may require a valid, unrestricted Hawaii license. Experience: Some positions require work experience as a physician; others may require experience in a specialized field of medicine.
