Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting necessary tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions in collaboration with medical teams or independently, depending on credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families on health maintenance, wellness strategies, and illness management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatment methodologies within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic health issues
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Licensing and Certifications Required

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a related specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or a commitment to acquire them within 90 days)
