What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on acuity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Use the nursing process to evaluate patient progress and adjust care accordingly
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-visit care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to legal and regulatory standards
• Apply emergency procedures efficiently during critical situations

What You Need

Required:

• RN license in Louisiana
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• At least 2 years of ER nursing experience

Preferred:

• Certification in a clinical specialty area
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective organizational and time-management skills
