Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (excluding on-call time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, high-acuity care to patients presenting with traumatic injuries and medical emergencies in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care using Epic electronic health record system
• Electronically record and administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Deliver nursing care across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas
• Collaborate with an experienced, multidisciplinary ED team to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required
• Ability to commit to every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts; candidates with excessive time-off requests, particularly around holidays, will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, large-scale Emergency Department environment
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient populations within an ED setting
