Step into a rewarding contract position providing speech-language pathology services in a vibrant educational setting near Decatur, IL. Serving young students, you'll help create positive, supportive learning environments while fostering communication skills across a manageable caseload. Two full-time roles are available, each dedicated to specific grade levels: one focusing on Kindergarten through 1st grade, and another supporting 2nd and 3rd graders. Both roles provide on-site service, transitioning away from previous virtual models, ensuring you can connect and make an immediate difference.

Your experience and certification as an SLP-CCC will be crucial to delivering high-quality therapy, collaborating with educators, and supporting families.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Active Illinois SLP licensure
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to work M-F, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Professional, caring communication skills
• Commitment to onsite, in-person support

What your work will include:

• Manage and deliver speech/language therapy for a caseload of 30–35 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers and administration to ensure student needs are met
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings
• Engage and update families on student progress
