Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients on general telemetry, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Accurately document patient information and care activities using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with Cerner EMR system
• Background in a combined Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit setting
