Gogo Network EngineerAs a Gogo Network Engineer, you will join a team that designs, develops, and deploys the global ground-based network infrastructure that connects aircraft and supports products and services for customers and internal stakeholders.You will help deliver reliable 4G LTE, 5G, and satellite inflight experiences by building scalable network solutions and collaborating across engineering, operations, and business teams.How will you make a difference?Implement the features and functionality of Gogo's network & systems infrastructureCollaborate with other business units to meet a common goalBuild solutions based on business requirementsTrack project tasks, provide status updates, and ensure assigned work is completed on scheduleTroubleshoot network performance and connectivity issuesContribute to process improvements by researching, introducing, and adopting tools that improve reliability, automation, and operational efficiencyGuide implementation of best practices for system design/developmentContribute to a healthy, collaborative team environment through clear communication, ownership, and a strong work ethicParticipate in scheduled maintenance windows and an on-call rotation to support the reliability and availability of critical production systemsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience2-4 years in telecommunications, service provider, or information technology environmentsExperience working in a tiered support environment, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 supportRequired Skills, Experience and TalentsUnderstanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networkingHas worked with, e.g network services. DNS, DHCP, AAA, TACACS, etc.Skilled with Linux administrationKnowledge of virtualization, e.g. VMWare ESXi, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.Experience with Python or shell scriptingDesirable Skills, Experience and TalentsExperience with cloud service providers, including AWS and AzureHas worked with Cisco VxLAN (Nexus)Skilled with Ansible and/or PuppetExposure to Git workflows, principles, and best practicesKnowledge of monitoring and observability tools, including Grafana, Prometheus, Fluent, etc.Demonstrated passion for the open-source ecosystemEqual Pay Disclosure(s)Base Pay: 88,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD AnnualTarget Annual Short-Term Incentive: Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)Eligible for Incentive Stock Program: YesBenefits: Gogo offers competitive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage with plans that can fit each employee's needs.
