We are seeking a talented Prep Cook and Counter Person to join our team. This role involves cooking crepes on a flat top griddle, preparing menu items such as smoothies, waffles, wraps, and salads, as well as providing excellent customer service by greeting customers and taking orders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and store. Availability for night and weekend shifts, including closing duties, is essential. We value a friendly, energetic, and self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take orders
- Operate register and Square card processor
- Prepare food and cook crepes on flat top griddle
- Make all menu items including crepes, smoothies, waffles, wraps, and salads
- Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining tables, and overall store area
- Wash dishes and maintain dishwashing area
- Restock supplies and manage food rotation
- Put away deliveries and maintain basic inventory knowledge
- Close the store following proper procedures
Required Qualifications
- Reliable with excellent customer service skills
- Clean, tidy, and professional appearance with good hygiene
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently
- Passion for making great food
- Availability for closing shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of food service experience
- Food Handler's License
- Food Safety License
- Experience cooking on a flat top griddle
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Professional appearance and customer service orientation
