MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a hospital team in Huntersville, NC. The MRI Technologist will follow physician scanning instructions, prepare and position adult patients for MRI procedures, operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images, and collaborate with radiology staff to ensure patient safety and image accuracy. Candidates must be able to work in acute and high-acuity settings and participate fully in orientation and training as scheduled by the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• State MRI licensure as required for North Carolina.
• MRI advanced level certification.
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience. Unit will accept first-time travelers; locals accepted.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in adult acute care settings, including Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and ER/Trauma.
• Proficiency in abdominal and pelvic MRI procedures, including Abdomen, MRA, MRV, Female Pelvis, MRCP, and Male Pelvis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hospital-based MRI systems in a high-volume environment.
• Previous completion of facility-specific orientation or similar hospital onboarding.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 06:30 - 15:00.
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour shifts.
• Travelers must be fully available for orientation and training; start dates are subject to facility scheduling and trainer availability. Missing any portion of orientation may delay or cancel the start.
• RTO after booking is not allowed and may result in cancellation.
