Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine also considered
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- ATLS required unless Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine
ED & Patient Volume
- ED Beds: 14, including 2 trauma rooms
- Annual ED volume: 16,000 visits
- Average visits per day: 43
- Pediatric visits: 23%
- Trauma Level: IV
- Admission rate: 15%
- Transfer rate: 5%
- Majority of transfers go to Memorial Hermann
Schedule & Coverage
- Physician Shifts:
- 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- APP Coverage: 10:00 AM–10:00 PM
