We're seeking a Delivery Driver to support our growing Delaware delivery operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working independently, and providing exceptional customer service while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

We are specifically looking for candidates who reside in Delaware, preferably in or near Claymont, Wilmington, Newark, Middletown, Smyrna, or Dover.

Each morning, you'll drive your company-provided vehicle from your home to our Annapolis, MD pharmacy to load medications and supplies before heading out on a delivery route throughout northern and central Delaware, including the Claymont and Dover areas.

Your travel time between your home and the Annapolis pharmacy is paid. At the end of your route, your workday endsyou'll take your company vehicle home and report back to Annapolis the following morning.

Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Start your day by driving your company vehicle from home to our Annapolis pharmacy.
• Load medications and supplies for your assigned route.
• Spend the remainder of your workday completing deliveries throughout Claymont, Dover, and surrounding Delaware communities.
• Deliver medications safely, accurately, and on schedule while providing outstanding customer service.
• Once your route is complete, your workday is overyou'll take the company vehicle home and repeat the process the following morning.

Main Responsibilities

• Report to our Annapolis pharmacy each morning to prepare and load medications before beginning your assigned Delaware delivery route.
• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle in accordance with company policies and traffic laws.
• Deliver prescription medications and pharmacy supplies throughout Claymont, Dover, and surrounding Delaware communities.
• Follow assigned delivery routes while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Obtain delivery signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Handle medications in compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Utilize company-issued technology and communication devices as required.
• Represent Altruix professionally while interacting with patients, facilities, and business partners.
• Complete required compliance and safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), background check, and pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong time management, organizational, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous delivery, courier, or logistics experience.
• Experience working in healthcare, pharmacy, or another regulated environment.
• Familiarity with Delaware roadways and delivery routes.
• Experience using GPS navigation and route planning tools.

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

This is aDelaware route-based position. Each workday begins with a stop at our Annapolis pharmacy to load medications before completing deliveries throughout northern and central Delaware.

Drivers keep their assigned company vehicle overnight and use it to report to the pharmacy each morning.

Travel time between home and the Annapolis pharmacy is paid. At the completion of the daily route, employees take the company vehicle home.
