Client Funds Specialist

Client Funds Specialist Based in the Firm's global operations center in Tampa, FL. Key Responsibilities Process bank transactions, including deposits and disbursements. Ensure deposits are recorded to the appropriate client matter and that disbursements have appropriate supporting documentation and approvals. Set up vendors to meet IRS criteria, including minimal comprehension of tax laws. Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies. Manage trust accounts to comply with state regulations and firm policies. Manage bank account opening and maintain good banking relationships, including signature account maintenance, assisting with online access, and entitlements. Conduct in-depth research for transactions and payments. Store and file records of transactions. Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned. Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to work activities during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law. Required Skills Strong verbal, mathematical, written, and analytical skills. Excellent organization skills and sense of urgency for requests. Adaptable to changing priorities and work demands. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure. High ability to work independently as well as with others in a team setting. Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite or Microsoft365. Required Qualifications & Education 2–5 years relevant accounting and finance experience. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, or Economics. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time; moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
