The Loader plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that materials and products are efficiently loaded and unloaded from trucks and containers. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of production and ensuring that all operations run smoothly. The Loader will be responsible for adhering to safety protocols while handling heavy equipment and materials. By accurately loading and unloading goods, the Loader contributes to the overall productivity and efficiency of the manufacturing facility. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid forklift operator certification, and previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Preferred qualifications include experience with inventory management systems, knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting, and the ability to operate additional machinery such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.

Responsibilities include safely operating forklifts and other loading equipment to move materials and products, loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and placement, inspecting loads for accuracy and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor, maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency, and collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.

The required skills for this position include proficiency in operating forklifts and other loading equipment, which are essential for safely moving materials. Attention to detail is crucial for inspecting loads and ensuring accuracy, preventing costly errors in the supply chain. Strong communication skills are necessary for collaborating with team members and reporting any issues to supervisors.
