Our organization is on the lookout for dedicated and skilled OB/GYN Faculty Members to enhance our prestigious residency program. With a group of 16 residents and over 25 volunteer faculty, this position presents a remarkable chance to integrate clinical practice with resident education, influencing the future of obstetrics and gynecology.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Practice (0.7 FTE)

• Deliver comprehensive care in obstetrics and gynecology, encompassing prenatal, delivery, postpartum services, and gynecologic surgeries.

• Engage in labor and delivery coverage, which includes on-call duties.

• Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up appointments.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care.

• Keep accurate and current patient records.

• On-call duties not to exceed a ratio of 1:6/7.

Educational Duties (0.3 FTE)

• Act as a preceptor for residents, providing hands-on training and mentorship in both clinical and surgical environments.

• Contribute to the development and execution of the residency curriculum under the guidance of the residency program director, ensuring compliance with ACGME standards.

• Facilitate educational activities, including lectures, case discussions, and simulation training.

• Assess resident performance and offer constructive feedback.

• Participate in scholarly endeavors such as research, publications, and presentations at conferences.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.

• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

• A strong commitment to teaching and mentoring residents.

• Outstanding communication and organizational abilities.

• Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
