Assistant Moving Center Manager

Run daily operations of the center in the General Manager’s absence Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care Install hitches, brake controllers, and perform miscellaneous duties Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University Requirements Must be part of a couple's team to co-manage this storage center; no individual applications will be considered High school diploma or equivalent Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record Leadership experience in any form Customer service experience Ability to work a variety of shifts Ability to work around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals with required safety precautions Ability to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields when required Ability to remain stationary and traverse indoor and outdoor spaces for long periods Ability to reposition to reach and use tools Ability to move a minimum of 50 lbs., assisted or unassisted U-Haul will not hire or re-hire individuals who use nicotine products in specified states, including Arizona Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership and customer service skills while managing daily operations and team assignments in a dynamic environment.
