JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB DUTIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Data Processing Specialists (DPS), under general supervision, perform a variety of tasks associated with day-to-day post-test processing operations in support of flight testing. The DPS follows established procedures and runs pre-built data tools to load and reduce data from flight test aircraft. The DPS is also responsible for validation and QC of data sets and assists with troubleshooting data issues as they arise. The DPS works closely with the Special Instrumentation, Engineering, and Program Management teams to ensure mission support needs are met.Essential job duties are as follows:
- Performs essential data handling of test data, data products, Instrumentation Media Kits and validation of pre-flight data.
- Ensures all data products are logged into and out of the data management system and provide periodic inventories of all stored media.
- Understanding and adhering to all local security requirements regarding handling, transferring, shipping, and disposing of data and media products.
- Performs other related duties and tasks as requested.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The foregoing conditions and physical requirements represent the general characteristics required to perform the essential functions for this job. In general, all positions may require standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Specific work assignments may include additional environmental conditions or physical requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. These specific requirements will be detailed in the job posting. JT4 employees will only operate equipment that they have been fully trained on and/or are certified to operate. If working in a training capacity, employees must be supervised at all times by a competent trained or certified company employee. Under no circumstances should employees use another employee's equipment without permission from their immediate supervisor or manager. Conversely, employees should not allow other JT4 employees or employees of another employer to use JT4-owned or assigned equipment without proof of training and approval of the shop manager.
Routine travel to remote company work locations and work in field environment with occasional overnight assignment may be required.
