As a Security Officer Full Time in Oak Creek, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with badge-related processes. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related authorization, and control entry and exit for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
